Tomas Becklin joins FLOX Robotics as Chief Technology Officer

FLOX Robotics announced today that Tomas Becklin has been appointed as the new Chief Technology officer (CTO).

Becklin, a Silicon Valley veteran with over two decades of experience, is joining FLOX Robotics after his role as CTO at a Stockolm-based startup 2Heal Medical and his role as VP Engineering at Silicon-Valley based Zeitview (formerly DroneBase), where he was pivotal in building the foundational drone-as-a-service platform and spearheading the company’s first AI initiative.

“After getting to know the very talented team and understanding how large the problem behind the mission truly is, the decision to join was easy. The need for technologies that enable humans and wildlife to coexist is something that I am very excited to build with Sara and the team!” said Tomas Becklin, CTO of FLOX Robotics.

As a serial entrepreneur, Becklin has co-founded numerous startups and held multiple CTO roles in Silicon-Valley based dataPlor, Squabbler, and Slingshot Labs amongst others, showcasing his knack for steering tech ventures from inception to success.

“Adding a leader of Tomas’s caliber to our team aligns perfectly with the journey ahead of us, delivering services to customers world-wide,” said Sara Nozkova, CEO of FLOX Robotics. “His track record in Silicon Valley, paired with his extensive experience in drone industry, AI and leadership in multiple high-tech ventures, positions us to accelerate our innovations and deliver exceptional services to our current and future customers.”
