As we are nearing the end of the year we want to thank everyone who helped us at Flox Robotics in 2021; the first full year of operations for us creating and executing on our mission to coexist with wildlife – a mission that clearly resonated since we have been overwhelmed by all the support and positive responses we have received so far.
2021 was a unique year with new and unprecedented challenges for the whole world, and obviously for Flox it was no different. However, despite these challenges we are proud of what we have accomplished in 2021, including:
- Our progress to accelerate and optimize our product development
- Initiating new partnerships
- Growing our employee base
One of the proudest accomplishments for 2021 has been our various field tests: beginning in the forests of Northern Italy, expanding to agricultural fields in Eastern Sweden especially looking at wild boar and deer, and at last all the way to a vineyard in Southern Sweden where we focused on bird flocks.
We gained an incredible amount of valuable data and feedback from these first pilots. We wanted to sincerely thank each and every one of the landowners – our earliest adopters – who have gone above and beyond in order to support us during the field tests, granting us the opportunity to develop our platform…
And putting us in prime position to launch our solution, in earnest, in 2022! As good as 2021 was for us, 2022 will be the year we start harvesting what we sowed in 2021 as we expect to welcome our first real customers, without losing focus on what really matters:
Continuing to develop the Flox solution to fulfill our mission:
developing the ability to cover more fields while mapping and repelling additional wildlife species in order to maximize agricultural output
and
maximizing our impact to protect young forests as we in turn (aim to) prevent agricultural expansion into natural wildlife habitats.
But for now, we wish everyone an amazing end-of-year festive period – we hope everyone will have the opportunity to take a break and spend time with your loved ones so we can all come back in 2022 recharged. We can already tell you we are brimming with excitement to get going in the new year, and take on whatever new challenge awaits us!
