FLOX Robotics Awarded €50,000 EU ICAERUS Grant: A Leap Forward in Wildlife Management for Agriculture

FLOX Robotics is proud to announce our selection as a recipient of the €50,000 grant from the European Union’s ICAERUS PULL Open Call for Farming, Forestry, and Rural Challenges (FFRS). This grant signifies a major step forward in our mission to integrate our technology into sustainable agricultural practices.

With the support from the ICAERUS project, FLOX Robotics is set to embark on a groundbreaking project aimed at developing and testing the system specifically designed for wildlife management within the agricultural sector. Our initiative seeks to address the significant challenge of wildlife-induced crop damage across diverse Swedish farming landscapes, directly responding to the specific needs of farmers. The project is anchored on three pivotal objectives, focusing on effectiveness validation, economic and sustainability assessment and farmer engagement.

The grant from the EU ICAERUS project not only provides us with the necessary funds to propel our project forward but also reaffirms the potential of our technology in making a substantial impact on the agriculture and forestry sectors. It marks a significant milestone in our journey towards enhancing the sustainability and efficiency of agriculture through innovation.

As we move ahead with this exciting project, we are committed to sharing our progress and outcomes. The support from the European Union and the ICAERUS project enables us to push the boundaries of what is possible with AI and robotics in wildlife management, contributing to a more sustainable and productive agricultural future.
