Located outside Varberg on Sweden’s west coast, Börsgården is a large-scale agricultural farm with a long-standing battle against crop damage caused by geese.
In 2024, Börsgården became the first farm to deploy Flox for a full growing season—using our drone-based deterrence system to guide geese away from sensitive crop areas. The results were immediate and sustained: over 2,000 geese were safely herded away during the four-month period, with overall 97% efficiency and no signs of habituation.
Farm Manager Jacob Olsson summed it up: “The geese even learned to stay away the more we used the system. It’s clear this is the solution we’ve been waiting for.”
This deployment was part of the VILL(T)SAM project funded by the Swedish Board of Agriculture and carried out in collaboration with Hushållningssällskapet and Halmstad University Innovation. It marks a breakthrough for farmers seeking autonomous, humane protection from wildlife pressure—enabling coexistence without compromise.

”We saw immediate results and the efficiency continued throughout the whole season. The geese respond differently to Flox compared to other deterrence methods we’ve tried in the past.”
