USDA and Colorado Officials Witness Flox’s Wildlife Management Technology
Denver, Colorado — Flox has started its engagement in Colorado by meeting with key stakeholders from the USDA, National Wildlife Research Centre, Colorado Parks and Wildlife, Denver Airport, Colorado Transportation and other key stakeholders to demonstrate its autonomous wildlife management technologies. The visit included live demonstrations of Flox’s autonomous herding system, which uses AI and wildlife science to assist in tasks like monitoring and keeping wildlife away from critical areas.
The first day was spent at USDA headquarters, where Flox demonstrated its system to officials focused on reducing human-wildlife conflicts. On the second day, the team presented to the Colorado Parks and Wildlife and industry leaders from airports, transportation, and other sectors. Discussions included how Flox’s technology could be used to improve wildlife management in the Colorado state.
Colorado’s unique challenges, from managing migratory elk and deer populations to the ongoing reintroduction of wolves, were central to the conversations. Flox’s technology offers a non-invasive way to support these efforts, ensuring both safety and ecological balance.
Sara Nozkova, CEO & Co-founder of Flox, commented on the visit: “Colorado is a state where wildlife and human activities are deeply intertwined. Our technology can provide practical support, from helping with airport and highway safety to assisting in managing complex initiatives like the wolf reintroduction program. We’re excited to contribute to this important work.”
This visit marks the start of Flox’s efforts to support wildlife management in Colorado, with plans to continue collaborating with local organizations and expanding its applications in the region.
