Brand and Communication Manager

Flox is a fast-growing technology startup with huge market potential. We combine AI and wild animal expertise to solve urgent environmental problems by helping humans and wildlife coexist.

Flox is now ready for fast international expansion, and we need your help to develop and communicate our brand so that we can take full advantage of our first-mover advantage and reinforce our leading position. Our communications should also help us build relationships with key opinion leaders and directly support sales across international markets.

As Brand and Communication Manager based at our headquarters in Stockholm, you will ensure that our messaging is consistent, impactful, and aligned with Flox’s vision. You will be responsible for strategic planning and budgeting, as well as execution, sourcing and coordinating partner agencies worldwide where necessary.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communication Strategy:
    • Develop and execute strategic communication plans, including positioning and messaging
    • Lead development of Flox’s brand identity, ensuring it resonates internally as well as with customers and partners
    • Develop and maintain brand guidelines and ensure consistency of implementation
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Thought Leadership:
    • Craft compelling stories about Flox’s mission, product innovations, and success stories for use across digital platforms, newsletters, in case studies, and more
    • Develop and nurture relationships with industry influencers and key stakeholders
    • Lead media relations including press releases, public appearances, and crisis management
  • Digital Presence:
    • Oversee Flox’s digital marketing channels, including social media, website content, and email marketing, to ensure consistent messaging.
    • Collaborate with digital teams to enhance SEO, manage online campaigns, and monitor performance metrics to inform future strategies.
  • Integrate with Sales Effort:
    • Ensure that all communications ultimately support sales
    • Develop sales materials, such as presentations and case studies
    • Support participation in trade shows and industry events
    • Create and manage own platforms for interacting with customers

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience and track record from brand management, communications, or public relations in a high-growth company
  • Excellent writing, storytelling, and content creation skills
  • Experience managing media relations and working with journalists, industry experts and opinion leaders
  • Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution
  • Fluent in English and Swedish
  • Experience in a hybrid work environment and familiarity with the tech or innovation-driven industries is a plus

 

Position Details:

  • Location: Stockholm, Sweden
  • Hybrid position
  • Full-time permanent role with a six-month probationary period
  • Start date: January 2025
